I am writing this while doing some last minute packing. It’s my first time taking the bus from KL Central to LCCT and I’m not sure how long it is going to take. There’s also a departing ‘Lunch’ with family members so that they get to see me one last time? It’s not like I’m gonna go missing in action after this trip!! What to do, grandmothers are grandmothers. My whole morning was filled with phone ringing.. One after another.. From relatives, to wish me good luck and to ‘remind’ me of all sorts of dangers such as ‘Do Not help any old person take their bags. There' may be drugs in it.’ and the classic one ‘Don’t go looking for prostitutes.. Even if you do, USE a CONDOM!!’.
Back to the trip before I expose any more information on myself. Students of Taylor’s University College, Law School will be meeting up at LCCT at about 3.00 pm for a short briefing session before we board the airplane. The eleven of us will be accompanied by students from Taylor’s Business School and the American Degree Program who will be there on their own business trip to enhance their ‘business’ skills.
Here’s some comments made by some of our students about the trip to Vietnam:
This is a wonderful event organised by our university. It does add a considerable amount of weight to our CV’s next time.
Justin Dominic Wong, Year 1 LLB Student
No regrets joining Taylor’s Law School. Our program Director gives as much emphasis on first hand experience as she does in our academic results. Most importantly, this kind of experience is not one which we can get anytime, anywhere.
Elisa, Year 1 LLB Student
Firstly, I must thank Taylor’s University College for this wonderful experience. I would also like to convey my gratitude to the LAWASIA Committee for choosing Taylor’s as the Host University for the 2008 LAWASIA Moot Competition. Without you, we would not be going off to Vietnam and will be boringly flipping through law textbooks during the weekend.
Sara Lau, Year 1 LLB Student
Again, I humbly ask you to stay tune for more interesting, mouth-watering updates.

Neptune Loh
