Genting Highland, which is located on the moutain peak in the state of Pahang is know as the ‘City of Entertainment’. It is a low-budget, family oriented holiday destination for people of all ages. The main attraction is definitely the theme park which is both outdoor and indoor is specially designed to accommodate not only the youngs, but also adults. Nevertheless, for those who would like to try on their luck, you can always visit the high equipped casino while those who would like to shop and purchase souvenirs, the First World Plaza is the place to be. One of the many hotels on the moutain top, the multi-coloured First World Hotel is the second largest hotel in the world when it comes to the amount of rooms.

Sunway Lagoon is another famous amusement park in Malaysia. Similar to Genting Highland, rides available in this theme park are suitable for people of all ages. Sunway Lagoon also has a water park on its own whish includes one of the world’s largest man-made surf beach as well as the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. With the recent improvement conducted, they are even more rides in both the wet and dry park.

How to get there:
• You can take a bus but it is advisable to take an executive coach up for more comfort. You can take the bus from Pudu Raya Station and KL Central.
• If you would like to go in your own vehicle, you can reach Cameron Highland in three ways; from Tapah Road, the new Simpang Pulai exit from Ipoh and the highway from Gua Musang.

How to get there:
• By airport - The nearest airport is Kuala Lumpur International Airport. A coupon or metered budget taxi to or from KLIA will take 30 minutes
• By taxi - You can take a taxi from KL Sentral in KL.
• By bus - You can take a bus from Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Serdang commuter station and Sinar Kota in Kuala Lumpur.
• By train - The fastest choice is the KLIA Transit connection KL Sentral train station to the airport, which stops halfway in between at Putrajaya.

Seri Kembangan, about 35 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur.

How to get there:
You can take the KTM Commuter train and stop at Serdang Station. From there, cross over the highway at the overhead bridge and walk for about 15 minutes to the park.

This theme park is completed in year 1993 and is located on a man-made lake. The Mines Wonderland aims to educate and create a fun recreational place for people from all walks of life. If you are unsure of how to spend your time at night, you can always visit this theme park as it is open from 5 to 11pm on public holidays while 6 to 11pm on normal days. Do take note that this theme park closes on Mondays.
