Life has always its ups and downs and it has taught me to stand up for the weaker ones. I want to stand up for those people who cannot afford to defend themselves for what they have or have not done. The confidence in me is the spirit that pushes me to endure all the pain and sleepless night. Thus, life as a student is the time where I cherish and appreciate the most.
It is no doubt that being a student is not an easy burden in the current competitive world. Many students choose the option of being a lawyer as they really have the passion and love for this career as it is their future. I chose law as I knew that law was for me. It was that feeling, that spark in me that says that “this is the degree for you, go for it!”.
I learnt to be very independent since I have started my law degree as it requires a huge amount of dedication towards studies. Doing research is the thing I hated the most previously as I had no idea where to look for these ideas and most important I was not interested in it. Since I have decided to pursue my law degree, hence things must change. Books are now my good friend and doing researches is part of my life!
There are definitely many difficulties that I do encounter such as not being able to understand lectures and memorizing cases as there is just too many cases to do so! Despite that, it did not hinder me to overcome all my fears. What I did was, I work twice as hard compared to the others. Nobody is perfect, thus not everyone is born smart.
Basically the most important thing that I have gain from pursuing law, I was able to meet different types of people. I worked in a law firm for a month and the experience I gain was just unforgettable. The lawyers were very fun people and at the same time they were quite stern. Work must be done and after work is done, we relax and have activities together.
Law has that special feeling that just gives me the healing effect. It is at times cheeky but still, it is interesting and will forever be evolving. I have learned to articulate much better and weirdly even the number of times I argue over small issues increases!
But I just love what I am doing right now and I definitely hope it stays the same for you guys!
